VML Manila’s Fran Palines joins 2026 Cannes Lions jury

VML Manila Creative Director Fran Palines has been named part of the Awarding Jury for the Audio & Radio Lions at the 2026 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, further strengthening the Philippines’ presence on the global creative stage.

Palines brings over a decade of industry experience and a highly awarded body of work that has consistently elevated Philippine advertising internationally. Since beginning her career at BBDO Guerrero in 2010, she has worked across leading agencies in Manila and earned more than 90 local and international awards.

Her accolades include recognition from major global award-giving bodies such as The One Show, New York Festivals, London International Awards, Clios, MadStars, Spikes Asia, Cannes Lions, AdFest, and the APAC Effies. Her work for Fully Booked earned the Philippines its fifth Gold Lion, while her radio campaigns for Nestlé Maggi became among the country’s most awarded in the category.

Palines will join a global panel of industry leaders chaired by Oriel Davis-Lyons, Chief Creative Officer of Mother, USA, to evaluate standout work in Audio & Radio. Her inclusion marks another milestone for the Philippines, underscoring its growing influence in shaping global creative excellence.
