4As Philippines concludes 2025, elects new board

January 5, 2026

The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As Philippines) capped the year with its final General Membership Meeting (GMM) on December 9 at The Peninsula Manila, gathering industry leaders to reflect on the year’s achievements and the road ahead.

4As Philippines President Teeny Gonzales presents the Board’s accomplishments in her President’s Report.

A key highlight of the meeting was the President’s Report delivered by 4As Philippines President and Seven AD Chief Executive Officer Teeny Gonzales, who summarized the Board’s accomplishments for the year. Her report underscored the organization’s collective efforts to strengthen industry collaboration, uphold professional standards, and ensure the continued relevance of Philippine advertising amid rapid change.

The GMM was further marked by a timely and deeply resonant message from 4As Philippines Chairman Melvin Mangada, who reflected on the values that have sustained the organization throughout the year and the responsibility that comes with leadership in uncertain times.

“What we’ve achieved is all because of our love for the industry and for showing up for each other. I’ve always believed that creativity is the most valued currency, but today, I think there’s an equally important—if not more important—currency, and that is trust,” Mangada said.

The meeting also saw the election of the new Board of Trustees (BOT), who will lead 4As Philippines for the 2026–2027 term. The newly elected Trustees are Ronald Barreiro (Dentsu Creative Philippines), Ricky Gonzales (Over The Moon), Martin De Guzman (Elevation), Karen Go (BBDO Guerrero), Paolo Bromar (TBWA\SMP), Henson Wongaiham (Ad Hoc Marketing), Janlo Cui (Havas Ortega), Mike Garcia (Ogilvy), and Mitzie Nacianceno (McCann Worldgroup).

In line with the association’s governance process, the new members of the Board of Trustees will elect their officers from among themselves in 2026. As 4As Philippines closes the year, the final GMM stood as both a celebration of shared achievements and a call to lead with trust, courage, and service—placing the interests of the association and the industry above all else.
