A Matter of Trust

The EON Group explores the importance of trust in the time of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has left institutions flat-footed with no leadership playbook to follow. It continues to redefine many aspects of our society, revealing vulnerabilities of institutions and strengths of communities that influence the actions of those who govern. In our current situation, trust has become the most stable ‘currency’ that institutions must have in huge reserve to engage stakeholders.

As the pandemic places our basic survival in peril, we see a rise in the criticism of institutional plans, as well as overall implementation, threatening to erode trust. In our increasingly aware society, we must walk the talk. Organizations and leaders must start asking themselves how their actions impact their trust reserves, and act as early as now.

While trust can dictate how long an organization can bounce back, gaining it still takes time with every action adding up to show how we put our stakeholders first. We are pleased to share with you an EON Insight article by Co-Founder and CEO Junie del Mundo, on the increasing value of communication as the bridge that connects our truth with that of our stakeholders.

We hope you find these insights useful in paving the way for your organization to thrive post-COVID. If you have any questions or clarifications, please feel free to contact EON.
